I see my generation as hard to condense. To put it into two or three words for future history books seems like a difficult challenge. But this time period is also very easy to summarize. I have mixed feelings but If I were to say it in just one word it would be self-absorption.
What I mean by this could also worded like this: post-modern world. People say that there are truths for everyone. Whatever a person feels like becomes their truth and they abide by their rules only. This gives the person "right" to do what they want and get what they want. Is this a new phenomenon? Nope. Judges 21:25 says, "Every man did that which was right in his own eyes."
How does this sound for a legacy? Once again the bible has it right!
