Another year has gone by and the school's out for the summer. But something is different about this year. The senior class is leaving and is not coming back. We no longer have a place in high school and, emphasized by graduation, that is what makes the end of this year so different.
School is hard, stressful work and we view teachers as the root to all of this evil. I find it easy to thank you now that I am leaving, but I do appreciate the lessons that each one of you have taught me. I'm not talking about lesson 5.6 in Pre-Calculus class or Section 57 in Bible class, but the life lessons that brought me to view and handle the world differently and especially the ones that brought me closer to Jesus. A big thanks goes out to all of you my teachers from deep down in my heart.
Life is a combination of moments and friends are people close to you that make each moment unique. I can't say that I am not affected in any way by any of my friends. You have all changed my life perspective and I sometimes think of how different my life would've been if I had not met even just one of you. I cannot say enough about how important all of you have been through these past years. A special thanks to J.a.c.k D. you are some of the most fun people to be around. I will miss you all but enough with the mushy stuff because we'll all stay in contact!
And to the little underclassmen, you're moving up so I can't tease you anymore. Just understand what is ahead of you. Take your next years seriously. Always pay attention and take notes even when you feel tired. Stay organized with each class no matter how organized you feel already, you can still prepare for college. This will also help you prepare for tests and finals. Most importantly, to enjoy time you must use it wisely. I know at Weimar Academy there seems to be less time then the "outside world," but if you use time to your benefit you'll be rewarded with more of it later. This may mean putting aside something fun like soccer or hanging out with friends to a later date. Of course, you need to prioritize. Find out what is most important to you in life. Don't wait until later to give you heart to God. I know that with Him all things are possible so I know you'll make it! Best wishes and prayers to all who are "left behind."
