28- Go Ahead and Look. It's Already Censored.

When the right to speak out and say what you want is given to a group of people, it is given with a large amount of responsibility to the one who it is imparted to and back to the "imparter" of this freedom.

Censorship is not altogether bad. In fact, I favor it. While is not illegal to speak ones mind, it is also not illegal to shield the young developing minds from the things that are not to their benefit.

In many cases, truth is withheld to glorify some politician. That censorship is wrong and self-centered and helps no one in the long run. And for the weak who are easily offended, they need to stop trying for attention and buff up a little. They need to stop being sensitive and think about the knowledge and how it might help. If it doesn't help ignore it instead of make a big deal out of it and others will follow along.

25- Its a New Year

For my Christmas break, lets start with the blessings. I got to leave early from school making my break that much longer! From there my time off took me to Tennessee which was awesome at that time of the year. My sister graduated from Southern's nursing program and the graduation was nice. What I was really looking forward to was the next wing of our vacation. Generation of Youth for Christ was in Minnesota and I couldn't wait to get there. We were late because of my sister's graduation, but we still received a huge blessing. It was great to listen to Godly people share about Christ and it encourages me to grow closer to Him. That experience was the biggest highlight of my break. I also got to spend Christmas with my family at my other sister's house which holds a close second to most memorable event in the past break.

As for New Year's Eve, we did the usual stay up until 12:00 and go right to bed after that. We had lots of fun playing games with our friends that Taylors and others. And now I am back to school to finish up the last half of my junior year!
